I went the farmers market held at JA Irino branch, Hamamatsu, Shizuoka.
Thanks to their autumn-winter schedule,
I didn't have to hurry so much this day.
The market opens at 6:30 from October to March.
Cosmos flowers were stunningly beautiful.
Still, they were 100yen a bunch.
Daikon radishes, turnips, an-nou sweet potatoes, etc.
The place was filled with autumn bounty.
A lady beside me at the cashier said 'I don't need turnip tops.'
So I got them. How lucky!
I love turnip tops. They go great with minced chicken.
I blanche them and chop coarsely and mix with soy sauce flavored chicken.
